Behold, The Jerkadilla!

Three Jerks Chipotle Adobo Filet Mignon Beef Jerky Quesadilla

Today, ladies & jerks, we introduce to you the ultimate snackadilla.  This simple yet delectable treat is the only recipe you will need (and want), so get rid of any other quesadilla recipes that you have.

Here is what you need (Makes 3-4 Jerkadillas):

  • 1 bag of Three Jerks Chipotle Adobo Filet Mignon Beef Jerky - Chopped into bit size pieces

  • Flour Tortillas (easier to work with than corn)

  • 1.5 Cup Shredded Cheese - we took a blend of Colby & Monterey Jack

  • Canola Oil

  • Toppings (all to taste)

    • Guacamole/Avocado

    • Sour Cream

    • Salsa

    • Hot Sauce (we like Cholula)

Now, time to get Jerkin!

  1. In a large skillet, heat enough canola oil to barely cover the pan

  2. Lay your tortillas flat and add some of the jerky & shredded cheese to the middle of the tortilla

  3. Fold the tortilla in half

  4. Place your tortillas in the skillet, its tempting but don’t overcrowd the pan – you will just get mad and not enjoy your snack

  5. Flip the tortilla in 1.5-2 minutes or until the tortilla is a nice crispy brown.  Remember all you are doing is melting the cheese and pan searing the tortilla, don’t burn it!

  6. Add (or smother with) toppings

  7. Enjoy! (and try to eat your Jerkadilla in more than 3 bites, cant blame you if you don’t)
