Chipotle Adobo Al Pastor Pork Burger

Oh, my, god. Becky, look at that Burger.
It is so big. [scoff]
It looks like one of those Three Jerks' burgers.
But, you know, who understands those guy? [scoff]

What can we say. We love big, round, juicy...BURGERS, and the Three Jerks Chipotle Adobo Al Pastor Burger is no joke.

Here's how to make it yourself. (Makes 8 burgers)

  • 1 bag Three Jerks Chipotle Adobo Filet Mignon Beef Jerky

  • 1 large handful chopped, the remainder left whole

  • 1 can Chipotle peppers in Adobo (use about 6 peppers)

  • 2 tsp marjoram

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 chopped small white onion

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 2 lbs ground pork (lean)

  • Vegetable oil

  • 1 pineapple sliced

  • Brioche buns

  • 1 cup cilantro


  1. Blend the Chiipotle peppers with the marjoram, oregano, garlic, 1/4 of the chopped onion and pineapple juice.  Puree until smooth then add the salt and pepper.

  2. Combine the ground pork, marinade and chopped Chipotle Adobo Filet Mignon Jerky in a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  3. Potion the pork/jerky meat into 8 evenly sized patties.

  4. Grill the burgers about 6-8 minutes per sides.  You want to cook pork all the way.

  5. Grill the pineapple slices until golden brown.  About 2 min per side.

  6. Slice buns, coat with mayo and grill to toast.

  7. Assemble the burger: Al Pastor patty topped with Cipotle Adobo Filet Mignon Beef Jerky, a slice of grilled pineapple, cilantro and chopped onion
