St. Patty's Jerky & Booze Pairings
17 Mar 19
As you know by now, we’re pretty into jerky. We love to cook with it, eat it by itself, and pair it with our favorite drinks. In honor of St. Patty’s day, we’ve decided to share some of our favorite jerky & booze pairings. If you’re looking for a good time, try some of these out & take your taste buds on an adventure like never before.
1. Original Jerky – Vodka Cocktail
Often imitated but never copied, our original jerky is salt, tangy, and tender. This makes it pair great with a classic cocktail. Vodka cocktails are some of the most classic drinks in the book so their obvious match is our original jerky.
2. Memphis BBQ Jerky – Whiskey
Everyone knows that Whiskey & BBQ go hand in hand. There’s just something about southern flavors like Memphis BBQ that marry perfectly with the bold taste of whiskey. Whether you’re drinking it straight or in a cocktail, this pairing is one that you can’t pass up.
3. Chipotle Adobo Jerky – Margarita or a Tequila Cocktail
A Mexican and Filipino inspired blend, our Chipotle Adobo Jerky is sweet, pungent, and has strong chipotle spices. These flavors pair perfectly with a classic margarita or a tequila cocktail. The tequila in a margarita or cocktail cuts through the spice from the jerky in a light and ridiculously delicious way.
4. Maple Bourbon Churro Jerky - Bourbon
Our Maple Bourbon Churro jerky is sweet, maple-y, and infused with real Bourbon. What is it’s obviously pairing? Bourbon. Did you see that one coming?
5. Hamburger Jerky - Beer
Layers of your favorite burger toppings infused into one delicious jerky flavor, this jerky is basically a portable hamburger. What’s its perfect pairing you might ask? A tried & true classic: beer. Throw together the light crisp taste of an ice-cold beer paired with the rich, tender flavor of our Hamburger Jerky & you’ve got yourself a match made in heaven.
6. Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Jerky – Sake
Inspired with Asian flavors of ginger and garlic, our Soy Vay jerky is irresistible. Pair it with some traditional sake for a cultural experience you won’t forget.
We hope that you get a little crazy with these jerky & booze pairings and share them with friends. Enjoy and Happy St. Patty’s Day!
